Houston's Robertson Verbals UW

The Cowboys picked up a three star wide receiver prospect from Houston, Texas when Kevin Robertson visited Laramie this weekend and committed to the Cowboys.

Robertson is a big target at 6-4 and 208 pounds, while possessing good speed for an outside wide receiver the Cowboys needed to plug into their program.

He received heavy interest from TCU, Kansas, and Oklahoma State, while receiving offers from Wyoming and North Texas.

Northland High School head coach David Nelson sees the Cowboys getting a major playmaker for their program.

"He's the real deal. He can jump out of the gym and can catch anything that is thrown his way. He's our go-to guy," he told Rivals.com. "He's a great kid with some incredible tools athletically. He's going to be a steal for somebody. We don't get recruited much as a private school, but he's a special talent."

Robertson visited TCU the weekend the Cowboys were playing in Fort Worth. While the Pokes struggled in the game, Robertson was not deterred by prospects of the program, especially after his official visit to the UW campus.

Robertson was timed at a 4.58 forty with his size.
