Sooners Keep Rolling Out Offers in Texas

SoonerScoop.com In what has almost become a weekly trend for the past month the Oklahoma coaching staff once again extended an offer to a 2012 Lone Star State defensive back prospect late last week.
This week's recipient now calls 'home' just a hop, skip and jump over the Red River in Sherman, Texas.
Standing at 5-foot-11 and 187-pounds cornerback Ryan Reid, who was an all-district selection a year ago while at South Oak Cliff, admits not just the offer but the presence of the Sooner coaching staff at his new stomping grounds came as a surprise.
"It was the first time I had got personal contact with the Oklahoma coaches. I was surprised to see them come by the school and then the offer came. They offered me as a cornerback. I have big, big interest in Oklahoma," Reid, who also currently holds offers from Baylor, Texas Tech, and Texas A&M, said.
