Recruits react to MSU's win over Memphis
Following Mississippi State's 59-14 victory over Memphis Thursday night BulldogBlitz sent out a mass text message to several of MSU's top recruits asking their thoughts on the game.
Here are their reactions...
Quadry Antoine - "I was real impressed on how the offense played. Chris Relf and Vick Ballard both had big games and seeing that the defense stepped up even when they were missing Fletcher Cox. He is a really big part of their defense. I think they played very well as a team and I look forward to seeing them progress over the season."
Brandon Holloway - "I thought it was a great game. It was good to see the balance of running and passing they did. They definitely picked up where they left off last year with the passing game! So I think it was a great start for the year!"
Devon Bell - "I thought it was a really good game. We looked good and it was a good preparation game for Auburn."
Torrey Bell - "I really enjoyed watching the game. I got to watch Coach (Chris) Wilson in action and thought the defense did an amazing job. I liked the way the entire team worked as a unit. I am counting down the days until I'm in maroon and white!"
Nelson Adams - "I think it was a great game for MSU. They showed a lot of balance on offense and the defense played great."
Deonte Evans - "The game was great to me! It is pretty cool to see the team you're committed to man handle people! By the looks of things we're heading to the SEC Championship game!"
Xavier Grindle - "I really didn't see the game against Memphis but I saw (highlights) on ESPN and they are going to be a force in the SEC. I think they are going to win the SEC and be in a BCS Bowl."
Ryan Brown - "Wow! The intensity was higher than high and Memphis could not match that Bulldog intensity and it showed through the scoreboard. I can't wait to be apart of the Bulldog movement."
Lelland Ducksworth - "I actually did not see the game but I heard about it and was impressed with how well they said the offense did. But as far as the defense I heard it's the same as last year. I heard the defense is still dominating and the team is looking great."
Kivon Coman - "They compete every play. You can tell they have good chemistry because they play very good together and they play until the whistle blows!"
Nardo Govan - "I wanted to see it but I was studying for some stuff."
