Rawlins earns offer on spring practice visit
Monessen (Pa.) quarterback Chavas Rawlins made his first trip to Morgantown for the opening day of West Virginia's spring practice Sunday, and the talented signal-caller left with an offer in hand.
Rawlins, 6-foot-4, 190-pounds, had the chance to tour the facilities and talk to the players, along with meeting the entire coaching staff and he was impressed with the entire package.
"I watched all of their practice and went into the meetings. I really like the way they practice and the pace they move," he said. "It went real good. I liked it at West Virginia. I like where it's located at, the coaches were real good and I had a good time."
