Rebels continue rebuilding of receiver corps
Collins Moore admitted when he arrived at Ole Miss' elite camp in June that he felt like an outsider who had to prove he belonged.
At some point during that weekend, however, the three-star wide receiver from Madison (Bob Jones), Ala., began to feel at home.
Moore made a follow-up trip to Ole Miss last month and then camped at LSU. On Sunday, the silky-smooth route-runner came full circle, announcing his commitment to the Rebels at an intimate gathering of family and friends at a north Alabama restaurant.
Moore, a 6-foot-2, 185-pounder with 4.5-second speed in the 40-yard dash, is ranked as the No. 9 prospect in the state of Alabama and the No. 43 wide receiver prospect in the nation by Rivals.com. Moore chose the Rebels over LSU, Kentucky, Illinois, Tulane and Vanderbilt.
