Staff introduces 2010 class to Casper

The Wyoming football staff took advantage of a Tuesday night Cowboy Joe Club event in Casper to introduce the Brown and Gold crowd to the Recruiting Class Of 2010. Members of the coaching staff took turns introducing highlight films of each of the young prospects and offering their assessments of the class.

The Cowboy staff offered their thoughts on the Class of 2010 on a stage that included a poster of Cowboy football and basketball players as well as the New Mexico Bowl trophy and the Bronze Boot.

The event, which was open to the public, was sponsored by the Cowboy Joe Club, which used it as a kick-off for its fundraising campaign in Natrona County. The Natrona County kickoff comes on the heels of a $324,167 campaign in Laramie County. That total represented a $37,000 increase in net proceeds from the year before.

Cowboy Joe Club Director Josh Rebholz added that the Wildcatter Suites on the east side of War Memorial Stadium are nearing completion and several Christmas parties have already been booked on the luxury box level for next year. He added that the school will also soon begin an effort to revamp the look of War Memorial Stadium's signage.

The Cowboy Joe Club has already had similar events to the evening in Casper in Denver as well as Cheyenne. in the coming weeks they will be in Rock Springs and Jackson.
