Diamanti expecting coaches to stop by

Grand Junction lineman James Diamanti excelled during the course of his junior year on the football field. His success has not stopped him from pouring in time to get better as a player overall.

"Every Monday through Friday, we have workouts. We go every day after school."

Diamanti is happy with the differences those workouts have made in him.

"I noticed I have gotten faster, stronger, and I can jump higher now. I have also been able to put on some size."

The improvements he has made will help Diamanti excel at a host of college camps.

"As a team, we are going to Boise State and I plan on going to Wyoming, South Dakota, Montana State, and maybe ASU."

Diamanti has attention from many of those same programs.

"I have been talking to the University of South Dakota, Wyoming, Montana State, Troy State, and Tulsa."

Three colleges are expected to stop by Grand Junction to see Diamanti and his teammates.

"We will be having Wyoming, South Dakota, and Montana State within a week."
