Manukainiu's Hobby Makes him Even Scarier
Many get lost thinking the talent coming from Euless (Texas) Trinity's program is the sole reason for the program's great success, however the ones really watching know it's the way the Trojans play that is a big product of their monstrous win totals over the last decade. The root of that play is based on brutal physicality that is nearly unparalleled in high school football. While it's no doubt the Trojan coaches instill part of that toughness in their practice, some of it is well beyond anything that can be taught.
The perfect example of this is Trojan star defensive end Polo Manukainiu. The 6-foot-6, 256-pound long-haired pass rusher is the type of guy who lives in the nightmares of quarterbacks across the lone star state. However many would fail to wake from the dream in which they had no helmet or pads to protect them.
