2013 tailback impresses at camp
Tennessee made has made some noise this week with the Vols' second session of camps generating some obvious momentum in the Class of 2012. While a quartet of commitments has understandably been the focus, the staff has also pulled a solid contingent of underclassmen to campus. One of those was Akron, Ohio running back Aregeros Turner.
Turner (5-foot-11, 180 pounds), from Copley HS in Akron, made the most of his trip to Knoxville. He picked up some tips on how to hone his game heading into his junior season while also snagging a scholarship offer after his effort.
Turner has also picked up an early offer from Illinois and is receiving heavy interest from Michigan after camping with the Wolverines earlier this summer.
He's finished with trips now that summer's winding down, but liked what he saw in his last visit of the summer.
A starter since his freshman season, Turner rushed for over 1,400 yards a year ago after piling up just over 1,000 yards as a freshman.
