What position will Perkins play?

For most prospects an official visit is just about having a good time at a prospective school.

But for Adarrius Perkins this past weekend there was some business talk involved as well. The Mississippi State commitment sat down with the Bulldogs coaches to discuss his future position.

Perkins is listed as a three-star "athlete" and played multiple positions Forest County (Miss.) this past season.

"There's one position they call H-back and it's like a heavier receiver like Malcolm Johnson plays or I'll be at strong safety," Perkins said. "It's just whichever one I get more comfortable with or fit in at. It's good with me. I'm familiar with receiver but I saw some different motions going on that I'm sure I'll fit in with. I guess I'll just see when I get in."

Of course there was still plenty of time for fun as well on his official visit to Starkville as well.

"We got to shoot paintball guns and have a paintball war," Perkins said. "We went to Coach (Dan) Mullen's house and played some games, ate and shot some hoops. We went to the basketball game and walked across the court. It was just all good."

Perkins admitted he was unsure of how he would fit in with the current Bulldogs. But felt the hospitality of the entire roster.
