Jiles to check out Dawgs?

At this point in the recruiting process, it couldn't get any more stressful.

Most highly touted recruits are being called non-stop by programs that are trying to persuade them to take one final visit to their school.

Cape Coral (Fla.) defensive back Tyreece Jiles isn't at all hesitant to admit it.

He's ready for it to be over.

"Right now it's extreme and crazy going into these last few weeks of recruiting," said Jiles Monday night. "I'm kind of stressed out to a point because it is getting hard."

Jiles committed to North Carolina in early November, but a recent visit to a local school has changed his perspective on the recruiting process.

"I was committed to North Carolina and I took a visit this past weekend to UCF (Central Florida)," said Jiles. "It changed my thoughts on recruiting and where I wanted to go. It made me reopen my decision in a way. Right now, I'm a little bit in lost mode."

With just over a week left until signing day, the three-star athlete has just decided to take one final visit.

"I've just set up a visit to Georgia," said Jiles. "I'm supposed to talk with them when I finish talking to you, and they are supposed to come by tomorrow or Wednesday."

According to the South Florida star, two Georgia coaches are instrumental in him making a decision to visit the Classic City.

"I talk a lot with the running backs coach, Coach (Bryan) McClendon, said Jiles. "I also talk to the defensive backs coach, Coach (Scott) Lakatos. They just kept telling me to come see them on and official and they believe I will just be blown away. So I'm going to go up there and check it out."

While Jiles' coming visit to UGA was a recent decision, there is nothing new about his interest in the Bulldogs.

"I've been considering Georgia since the summer," said Jiles. "I took a trip up there with some guys from Miami for Dawg Night. I got to see a little bit of the campus and I liked it up there. That's where most of my family is originally from, so I kind of know about the area and how it is up there."

As far as the process goes, Jiles can't wait until it is all over so he can move on to the next level.

"I'm just ready for it to be over so I can move on to the next step," he said. "I know I am mentally ready for college football right now, and I'm not quite physically ready yet. I'm going to work to get there though. I'm going to take this visit, and probably just decide right after the visit. It will probably be before Signing Day."
