Spartans keeping close eye on Canadian tackle

ANN ARBOR - Canadian offensive tackle Trey Rutherford was one of the top underclassmen performers at Michigan State's football camp last summer. The 6-foot-5, 270-pound junior tackle was also one of the top linemen at the this week's Adidas Maximum Exposure Camp.

Rutherford was at one of Michigan State's junior days earlier this year. The Villanova College High School product will be back at Michigan State for a summer camp session in July.

Spartan offensive coordinator Dan Roushar is the primary recruiter for Rutherford.
