Wyoming Among Offers For Kilen

Verona (Wisc.) offensive tackle Gunnar Kilen multiple offers now includes Wyoming. The Cowboys offered the big 6-foot-6 and 280 pound lineman on May 4th and the 20th extension he received from colleges to-date.

Kilen's offers include the Cowboys, Army, Navy, Toledo, Western Michigan, Central Michigan, Ball State, and Buffalo, along with Ivy Schools and FCS programs.

Kilen showed his versatility by playing all positions on the offensive line at Verona High School. The Pokes have recruited him since last year and he already visited Laramie during the fall building an early relationship with the UW staff.

"Thank you to Coach (Brent) Vigen for the scholarship offer to the University of Wyoming," Kilen tweeted over the weekend.

A strong, powerful offensive lineman with the frame to play at 320 pounds at the next level has caught the attention of many football programs across the country. UW has visited him in person.

Kilen was among four Wildcat players named to First-team Big Eight All-Conference honors in Wisconsin following the 2018 season.
